The mission of the Education Committee is to manage, devise and disseminate educational programs and materials of LES International, as well as of those from LES Member Societies, and, in collaboration with other institutions, enhance the dissemination of knowledge and experience of business dealings with and related to intellectual property including domestic and international licensing of intellectual property rights and transfer of technology to interested groups and persons inside and outside of LES International.

The goals of the Education Committee for 2011-2012 include the following:

• Develop a strong means to inform all Member Societies regarding available courses through both LESI and peer Member Societies, including an educational content map reflecting such
• Prepare a global map for the LESI Website showing scheduled / completed LES educational programs annually
• Develop short and long term strategic plans for: (a) cooperating on using content from Member Societies; (b) training the trainers; (c) recruiting instructors; and (d) new program development targets and process
• Continue to manage, devise and disseminate educational programs and materials of LES International, as well as of those from LES Member Societies
• Develop and manage collaborations with other institutions to enhance the dissemination of knowledge and experience of business dealings with and related to intellectual property, including domestic and international licensing of intellectual property rights and transfer of technology, to interested groups (such as governments, institutions and organizations) and persons inside and outside of LES International
• Populate and maintain the Committee pages on the LESI Website.
